When Dear Mom (我的寶貝四千金) first came out, I didn’t have much time to begin watch because I was busy with college apps, so I pushed it back until the beginning of 2015 in hopes of catching up with the daily airing schedule. It’s daunting for so many. After all, it airs five days a week and 60-80 episodes total.
The drama itself has a promising cast with the four sisters of the Li family: An Qing (Jennifer Hong 洪小铃), Li Yi Wan (Joanne Tseng 曾之乔), Qing Qing (Albee Huang 小薰), and Xiao Xi (Beatrice Fang 方志友). Then there’s the guys playing across from them: Chen Qi Le (Xiu Jie Kai 修杰楷), Du Xiao Fei (Melvin Sia 謝佳見), Xu Ji Kuan (Duncan 黎登勤), and Zhao Yu Hang (Jack Lee 李運慶). I’ve seen all of these actors/actresses before in previous dramas (with the exceptions of Melvin Sia and Duncan), and I personally like their acting.
